  • Endeavour Seismic scene
This new scene file for the Endeavour Segment of the Juan de Fuca Ridge shows the following data: 1) shiptrack bathymetry from the R/V Endeavour EW0207 Juan de Fuca cruise combined with high resolution (20m and 40 m) EM300 bathymetry where available in the axial high region; 2) locations of all EW0207 seismic lines (black lines); 3) processed EW0207 seismic lines (unmigrated stacks) focusing on the axial magma chamber (Van Ark et al., in press); 4) hypocenters of well-located microseismicity from a 55--day deployment of 15 ocean bottom seismometers (OBSs) on the central Endeavour Ridge (Wilcock et al., 2002), color coded by time; 5) locations of the known Endeavour hydrothermal vent fields (Deb Glickson, personal communication), shown with red boxes. • Juan de Fuca (Axial Seamount) scene
A new scene file for Axial Volcano on the Juan de Fuca Ridge includes the complete multichannel seismic (MCS) dataset with a total of 14 profiles. See Line_*.sd to turn on and off various profiles. The earthquake swarm after the 1998 eruption is colored by time and broken into 4 groups (Sohn et al., 2004). Turn on/off EQgroup*.sd. Vent locations are shown as green cylinders (Embley et al., 1999). See vents_ax.sd. Recent geodetic work by Nooner et al. (2004) and Chadwick et al. (2006) is highlighted by dark blue cylinders (size of cylinders are in relation to vertical movement due to inflation). See AX*.sd. Finally the multibeam file can be toggled and transparency changed. See axial-lg.sd. (G. Kent) [References]

  • Seismicity of Endeavour Segment scene
Scene file of data collected in the Summer of 1995 on the endeavour segment of the Juan de Fuca Mid-Ocean Ridge. Data includes hypocenters, bathymetry map, and station locations. (D. Kilb & W. Wilcock) [References]
